The Opportunity
At AFS, AI & Data Analysts support federal agencies in using data, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence to improve mission outcomes. Analysts design and build data pipelines, develop analytics and AI solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to integrate these tools into real-world government operations. This role blends hands-on technical work with problem‑solving, experimentation, and collaboration
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud tools
- Apply machine learning and AI techniques to support predictive analytics and automation
- Use frameworks like Agentic AI to develop adaptive, intelligent systems
- Visualize data and communicate insights using Tableau, Power BI, and custom dashboards
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to integrate AI into operational workflows
- Explore emerging technologies and next-generation architectures to improve solution delivery
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM or technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics with strong data science coursework, with graduation by August 31, 2027.
- Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA preferred) from a 4-year accredited institution.
- Engineering background with foundational skills in data analysis, programming, and problem-solving.
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Proficiency or interest in Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and cloud engineering
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and Databricks
- Curiosity about AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work well in teams
- Self‑motivated learner who enjoys experimentation and developing new skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission-focused environments
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $61,700-$109,400 USD
