Job Summary

We are looking for a Commercial Mobile HVAC & Maintenance Technician to service multiple commercial properties throughout Morristown, NJ and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience along with hands-on commercial building maintenance/handyman experience. This position will primarily handle HVAC maintenance and service tickets, while also performing general repairs and maintenance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.

- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC control issues.

- Service equipment such as rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.

- Respond to HVAC and general maintenance service tickets at commercial properties.

- Perform general handyman repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building repairs.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in a clean and organized condition.

- Communicate professionally with customers and provide updates on completed work and additional service needs.

- Complete service documentation and follow all safety requirements.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.

- Commercial building maintenance/handyman experience strongly preferred.

- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.

- Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between customer locations.

- Ability to work independently and respond professionally to customer needs.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other commercial environments.

Schedule Requirements

- Must be available for overtime and occasional emergency/on-call service, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

- Position requires travel between multiple commercial customer locations in the Morristown, NJ area and surrounding markets.

Minimum experience

Experienced
