Compensation Manager

Job Description
At Collective Health, we’re transforming how employers and their people engage with their health benefits by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, compassionate service, and world-class user experience design.Collective Health is looking for an experienced Compensation Manager who can provide compensation strategy and advisory guidance to our leadership team and HRBPs in partnership with the VP, Total Rewards & People Operations.
This role is expected to develop market competitive compensation design, structure and guidance that differentiates Collective Health as an employer of choice so we can attract, retain, motivate and develop great talent.
The Compensation Manager will report directly to the VP, Total Rewards & People Operations and will interface directly with the leadership team, HR Business Partners, Recruiting team and various People Leaders across the company. Responsible for leveraging experiences, in-depth knowledge of compensation programs, prevalent market practices and data analytics in order to help inform our compensation-related decisions that create a total rewards opportunity for our employees.
What you'll do:
- Advise on compensation strategy, programs, and related matters while balancing compensation expertise, and relationship building skills.
- Engage, influence, and provide concise guidance and recommendations to various audiences, including to the Executive team, HR Business Partners and People Leaders
- Lead design and consult on incentive compensation
- Develop a deep understanding of Collective Health and the organizational structure
- Responsible for compensation benchmarking and analysis, and salary structure design
- Ensure salary and equity programs remain competitive
- Partner with the Recruiting team on internal offers and job approvals
- Lead the annual compensation review process
- Ensure compliance with DOL, FLSA and minimum wage requirements
- Partner with outside counsel on annual pay equity reviews
- Support and educate Managers on Compensation programs and processes
- Provide support as needed for creation of Compensation Committee materials
- Responsible for coaching HR Operations Specialists during their Compensation team rotation
- Design and implement compensation programs at scale
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 8+ years of Compensation experience required, with incentive design experience
- Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires working on multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with People team peers and business stakeholders
- Strong problem solving skills required to research, analyze and troubleshoot data, process and workflow issues and the initiative to take action and surface existing gaps
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently, have exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
- Fully proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
Pay Transparency Statement
This is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi office, with the expectation of being in office at least three weekdays per week. #LI-hybrid
The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for 115,000 stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
