Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Procurement Manager to lead sourcing initiatives and partner with business stakeholders to optimize spend for assigned departments. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, leading complex negotiations, improving procurement processes, and delivering measurable value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect spend categories (e.g., Marketing, Professional Services, People, Finance, Legal).
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs), supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels, and contract provisions in partnership with Legal, Finance, and business teams.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPSM/CPM certification is a plus). 7+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a technology or SaaS company environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers. Strong understanding of contract structures, pricing models, supplier risk management, and procurement best practices.
- Experience working with procurement platforms such as Zip, Coupa..
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with experience working effectively across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Compensation:
This role is available in the following US Pay Zones:
US Zone 3: $120k to $150k
US Zone 4: $111k to $139k
