We're seeking a Sr. Product Manager on our Core Product Strategy team to own value add products for our agent and broker clients, the services beyond primary lead generation that help them run their business, and improve conversion and close. You'll translate our corporate strategy into product strategy, spanning capabilities like branding products, marketing platforms, lead nurture services, and listing content tools. Together with our core leads business, these form one cohesive portfolio that makes clients more successful and drives significant ROI.
You'll build a real point of view on the market and competitive landscape, and use it to decide where RDC should invest: which bets create the most client value and where we have the strongest right to win. You'll take that point of view to leadership across the business and earn buy-in on the strategy before it becomes a roadmap.
From there, you own turning strategy into a detailed product brief your teams can build from, partnering with cross-functional leadership to shape the solution and with delivery teams to hand it off cleanly. Your ownership doesn't end at handoff: you'll stay closely engaged through development and remain accountable for the metrics and results the original business case was built on.
What You'll Do:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for RDC's Value Add Services portfolio, and other products that extend beyond our primary leads business.
- Assess the market and competitive landscape for value-add and adjacent product categories, identifying where RDC has the strongest client value and right to win.
- Work with GM’s, corporate strategy team, analytics, finance, and the rest of the Product Strategy team to define the strategy, create a compelling business case for investment, and secure buy-in before committing roadmap capacity.
- Validate opportunities and investment with revenue modeling and business cases development, ensuring the strategy is fully pressure tested with actual metrics of our business and confirm the confidence level and guardrails required to realize the results and scalability expected
- Define test-and-invest plans for new products and capabilities, sequencing pilots and validating demand before committing full roadmap capacity.
- Translate strategic bets into detailed execution-ready product briefs, covering problem definition, target outcomes, scope, sequencing, and success metrics.
- Work closely with cross-functional leadership to define product solutions, and with delivery-team product managers and engineering leads to translate and hand off a detailed product brief.
- Stay closely engaged with delivery teams through development, not just at handoff, and remain accountable for the metrics and results the original business case was based on.
- Run research and discovery to inform each brief and strategic recommendation: market and competitive research, client and user insight, and input from cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain a coherent narrative across lead and value-add products, ensuring it ties back to the broader portfolio strategy, brand framework, and pricing and packaging strategy.
- Represent the Product Strategy in cross-functional planning forums, aligning stakeholders on scope and sequencing before work is handed off.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong experience assessing market and competitive landscapes and building a right-to-win case for new product bets.
- A strong track record of writing clear, detailed, execution-ready product briefs or PRDs that delivery teams can act on without heavy back-and-forth.
- Experience with branding, marketing or similar value-add or adjacent product categories is a plus
- Ability to define a vision, strategy, and roadmap for new or unproven product areas, comfortable being scrappy in testing and validating demand before committing full investment
- Ability to synthesize ambiguous or high-level strategic direction into concrete, actionable scope, sequencing, and success measures.
- Having the big picture strategic vision and ability to communicate and get buy-in, but also able to bring the strategy from slides to reality, with detailed financial modeling, and ability to execute and pivot based on learnings
- Strong cross-functional collaboration both to C-level leadership, and with peers and cross functional partners in engineering, design, data analytics, etc.
- Comfort staying accountable for outcomes past the handoff, tracking whether delivered products actually hit the metrics their business case was built on.
- Excellent written communication; your briefs need to stand on their own.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in product strategy focus areas
- Strong communication and presentation skills, as this role will require extensive work with multiple senior leaders across the organization
- Experience in real estate or marketplace businesses or other value-add or adjacent product categories a plus
- Demonstrated experience conducting market and competitive analysis and building the business case for new product investments.
- A demonstrated track record in both strategy and execution of delivery, and producing well-documented product requirements to delivery teams and seeing them through to launch.
