FullTime Hybrid $280 m Direct Apply

Job Description

About BRINC:
At BRINC, we are building the technology that will define the future of emergency response. As a vertically integrated U.S. drone technology company, BRINC designs and manufactures unmanned aircraft systems, autonomous drone stations, command-and-control software, and advanced autonomy for public safety. Today, BRINC deploys Drone as First Responder (DFR) networks that dispatch drones directly to 911 calls, providing real-time aerial intelligence before ground units arrive and helping first responders make faster, safer decisions. BRINC serves more than 1,000 public safety customers across all 50 states, is the sole drone supplier to Motorola Solutions, and has raised more than $280 million from leading strategic and technology investors, including Motorola Solutions, Index Ventures, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, and others. BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.

About this Role:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), Integrations & Partner Engineering to own how BRINC’s LiveOps cloud platform connects to the systems our customers already run - computer-aided dispatch (CAD), records management (RMS), real-time crime centers, camera and sensor networks, evidence management, and other public safety and enterprise platforms. This is a customer-facing role. You will be the technical lead for onboarding new agencies onto existing integrations, the driver behind new third-party software and product integrations from strategy through launch, and the owner of coordinating troubleshooting when an integration in the field isn’t working as expected.
You’ll work directly with agency IT staff, dispatch and real-time operations leaders, and third-party vendor engineering teams, with BRINC’s Cloud Software / Web Platform engineering team behind you as your technical resource. This is a highly visible role reporting into executive engineering leadership, and it requires someone equally comfortable reviewing a vendor API spec, sitting with a customer, shaping partnership strategy, and presenting in an executive status review. Deep technical experience in cloud software development is preferred, and technical fluency is essential; a dedicated engineering team owns the implementation. Above all, this role calls for sound technical and business judgement when representing BRINC to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end onboarding of new customers onto existing LiveOps integrations: discovery, technical requirements, network/security/credential setup with agency IT, configuration, validation, go-live, and handoff to support.

- Define and drive the third-party integration strategy for LiveOps - which platforms to integrate with, in what order, and why - balancing customer demand, partner business terms, technical feasibility, and the product roadmap.

- Establish new integration partnerships: run technical and product discovery with vendor engineering teams, scope interfaces, APIs, and data-sharing terms alongside product and business leadership, and set up the working cadence needed to ship.

- Exercise sound technical and business judgement with external parties - knowing when to say yes, when to push back, what to build versus buy versus defer, and how to structure a partnership that works for BRINC, the partner, and the customer.

- Drive delivery of new integration development with the Cloud Software / Web Platform team: write and own requirements, sequence work against the platform roadmap, manage dependencies, and get integrations tested and released to production.

- Own the troubleshooting process for integrations in the field: triage customer-reported issues, coordinate root-cause and fixes across BRINC engineering, partner engineering, and customer IT, and own status and resolution communication back to the customer.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration customers and partners, translating between agency IT and dispatch operations, vendor engineering, product, and BRINC engineering.

- Build the playbooks, runbooks, integration documentation, and onboarding checklists that turn one-off integration work into a repeatable, scalable program.

- Track integration program health - onboarding pipeline, time to go-live, open defects, partner commitments - and report clearly to executive engineering leadership, surfacing risks early and driving tradeoffs across quality, schedule, and scope.

- Ensure integrations meet BRINC’s security, reliability, and compliance standards, including CJIS and other law enforcement data handling requirements.

- Feed integration learnings and customer needs back into LiveOps product and platform planning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 7+ years of technical program management or similar experience delivering cloud software programs with external customers and partners.

- Proven track record owning customer-facing programs where you were the accountable contact for the customer and the customer would vouch for you.

- Demonstrated blend of technical and business judgement when working with third parties: evaluating partnership proposals, scoping what to build versus buy versus defer, and negotiating commitments that hold.

- Outstanding program management fundamentals: planning, prioritization across many parallel customer and partner threads, dependency and risk management, and relentless follow-through.

- Working technical fluency with cloud software and integration concepts - APIs, authentication and SSO, data flows, cloud infrastructure - enough to lead integration strategy discussions with vendor engineers and hold your own in a technical review, without needing to write the code yourself.

- Experience establishing and managing third-party technical partnerships, including scoping, joint technical/business strategy, and driving vendors to commitments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences, from agency IT administrators to executives.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with public safety technology: CAD, RMS, 911/dispatch systems, real-time crime centers, fixed or body-worn camera platforms, or evidence management systems.

- Experience working in regulated environments (CJIS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001).

- Familiarity with real-time video/WebRTC/streaming protocols and geospatial/mapping systems.

- Experience building integration or partner programs from scratch: partner tiers, certification, developer documentation, sandbox environments.

- Working knowledge of the enterprise networking and security topics that come up in agency onboarding: firewalls, VPNs, IP allowlisting, certificates, identity providers.

- Comfort getting hands-on when troubleshooting - reading logs, inspecting API calls - to speed up triage before pulling in engineering.

- Experience in a partnerships, customer success, or solutions role at a B2B SaaS company.

- Startup experience: high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and bias for action.

BRINC Culture Values:

- Try the hard stuff

- Be innovative - Invent the future

- Move fast

- Listen to end-users

- Strive for excellence

- Don’t build a dystopia

- Be frugal

- Save lives through technology
