Within this organization, the Digital Product Development Program Management (PDPM) team orchestrates the delivery of these high-impact initiatives.
We are a collaborative group of program and project managers who guide and support cross-functional workstreams spanning assessment operations, digital readiness, and assessment delivery. We ensure efficient coordination across business, product, and technology partners-balancing strategy with execution and ensuring workstreams move from concept to launch and operational execution seamlessly.
About the Opportunity
As Associate Director, Product Development Program Manager, Digital Assessments, you will play a key execution role in supporting the technical readiness and delivery of digital assessments. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented project professional eager to deepen their understanding of the digital assessment delivery and contribute to high-quality execution. Your primary focus will be on supporting pilots and research studies, including platform testing, technical validation, and readiness activities, with quality checks embedded throughout all assigned work.
Working under the direction of senior PDPM staff, you will execute defined components of digital assessment initiatives-maintaining disciplined documentation, issues or risk tracking, and validation processes to ensure stable outcomes. This role blends structured project coordination with hands-on technical execution and requires precision, follow-through, and a strong commitment to building quality into every deliverable. You will partner closely with PDPM, Product, Technology, and Assessment Delivery teams to support reliable and operationally ready digital assessments.
In this role, you will:
Pilot & Study Support (50%)
- Provide structured technical and operational support for pilots and research studies, including environment validation, configuration checks, and follow-up documentation.
- Confirm readiness of system components prior to pilot launch by executing predefined validation steps and reporting findings clearly.
- Execute pilot and study readiness tasks-including material preparation, device validation, participant communications, and documentation management-to ensure operational preparedness and smooth administration.
- Support pilots and studies during live administration (virtually or onsite), assisting with coordination, troubleshooting, and real-time issue management to ensure smooth execution.
- Partner with PDPM, product, and technology teams to ensure pilot feedback is captured comprehensively and reflected in post-pilot documentation.
Technical Execution & Testing Support (30%)
- Execute defined technical workstream tasks in support of Digital Assessment Platform initiatives under the direction of senior PDPM staff.
- Carry out Smoke Testing activities for AP and CRA administrations, ensuring all test cases, configurations, and validation steps are executed thoroughly and documented accurately.
- Follow established project plans and testing strategies, maintaining detailed tracking artifacts including test logs, validation documentation, and defect reports.
- Escalate risks, inconsistencies, and defects promptly with clear documentation and recommended next steps.
- Ensure assigned deliverables meet established quality standards prior to review or handoff.
Quality & Process Discipline (20%)
- Apply a detail-oriented, quality-first approach to all assigned workstreams, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability of documentation.
- Utilize standardized checklists, validation protocols, and quality controls to reduce operational risk and prevent avoidable defects.
- Contribute to retrospectives by identifying execution-level improvement opportunities and process gaps.
- Continuously refine personal workflows to improve efficiency, clarity, and reliability of outputs.
What Success Looks Like
- Scoped Contribution: When assigned, you independently manage defined components of a pilot or study-tracking progress, coordinating validation and/or readiness steps, and delivering within established parameters under senior guidance.
- Built-In Quality: You apply structured quality checks to your work, ensuring deliverables are complete, validated, and ready before handoff. Issues, risks, or blockers are clearly documented, and followed up on until they are resolved, minimizing rework and operational risk.
- Disciplined Execution: You reliably execute assigned work with strong attention to detail, completing validation activities thoroughly, maintaining accurate documentation, and escalating risks early to prevent avoidable issues.
- Reliable Partner: Senior PDPM staff and cross-functional teams experience you as organized and dependable. You provide clear updates, follow established plans, and consistently follow through on commitments.
